Every other tab allows you to customize the interface in a differ-
ent way, such as window size or color and shouldn’t affect the
operation of the program.
When testing it, I found that most of the time
it works well. However, I have found it does not
update the room list when people leave. Therefore, you might
have the same person listed several times, or you might be in
an empty room but think it’s full. However, this may not be the
experience
for most users.
Once in the game, you will need to re-locate the windows. Press
your hotkey and it will bring up three components over your
game interface.
In this mode, you can simply drag the two windows to the posi-
tions you would like them. The first window, labeled “Fleet or
STF2(Adult)” shows that I am in the Fleet or STF2(Adult) room
and it contains a list of the users in that room.
The other window, labeled “Popup Area” is where you will get
messages. There are two kinds of messages you will receive.
The first is an announcement of when someone has joined the
channel or the room. The second is any text message someone
in your room has sent in general chat.
When you are done moving the windows, press your hotkey
once again and the Popup Area window will completely disap-
pear. The user list window will nearly disappear unless you edit
transparency or the color palette.
As you can see, there are icons to describe the different mes-
sage statuses to help you quickly identify the activity taking
place. This tool will help you maintain communication with oth-
ers in your TS chat and will also allow you to quickly put a name
and a voice together as the person speaking will
appear in bold.
You can customize settings so it works better for you. The other
tabs contain options to change fonts, sizes, colors, and more.
This is an excellent tool that is startlingly easy to use. With it,
you can better identify with the voices you hear and you can
better greet new arrivals because, to be perfectly frank, “Hello
User” just doesn’t ring with sincerity.
